Free Shipping on Kayaks

Hard shell kayaks from online retailers are often subject to oversize shipping fees ranging from $100 to $250. For the same reason, most used kayak listings from private sellers are for local pickup only.   But  free kayak shipping is possible, on both new and used boats. 

Free shipping offers are now becoming more common from kayak manufacturers and retailers.  Kayak Sales West maintains a  kayaks free shipping page in our online kayak store.  Shipping costs for inflatables are usually less than for hard shell boats, and some inflatable kayak manufacturers like Sea Eagle offer free shipping for many of their products. We'll post any new free shipping offers from different manufacturers as they become available.

In addition, many of our new kayak listings are retailed through REI, which offers free shipping to any local REI store. If you live close to an REI outlet, request this free shipping option during checkout. Your kayak will be delivered to the store you specify, and you'll be notified when it arrives.

Of course another way to beat shipping charges is to pick up your kayak yourself.
